This run is embarrassing to post.. I used to run 10min miles on a good day and now it’s everything I can do to get one good 14min mile. Anyway, gotta start somewhere. There are a couple of pretty steep hills in the run below, but it’s really no excuse for that horrific time. I was thinking afterward though, I remember going by a rule the last time around that I’d pick up 1min in time for every 10lbs lost. That would make sense here as dropping 40lbs would get me back in the 11min/mile range. Honestly at this point, I’m not sure I can manage a decent time 28 weeks from now. And more importantly I have to keep telling myself that I don’t care if I have a good time, because the only other option is to just not do it at all.
