Week Four Summary – 1000lb Goal – 12/23/18 – 12/29/18


Bench: 245 – 5×5
Squat: 265 – 5×5
Deadlift: 250 – 1×5

Total: 760

I started feeling the aches and pains of heavier weight this week. I think it’s time to adjust. I’ve been doing squats 3x a week at 5×5 and with this much weight it’s really starting to wear on my old bones. During the summer when I got up over 800 total with a weak deadlift, I was only squatting and benching once per week. I think it’s time to do that again.

Moving forward this is the new schedule:
