Week Four Summary – Run Goal – 12/23/18 – 12/29/18

It’s official, I hate Nike Run Club. It’s quite literally the worst app I’ve ever used to run with. The final straw was the “tempo” run. I was supposed to do 6 – 400m runs with a 2 minute rest between them. I managed to start the run via the app, it eventually showed up on my watch, but it gave no indication when the 400m intervals were finished and when I should walk. So I just kept running.. angry..

Week Three Summary – Run Goal – 12/16/18 – 12/22/18

This run is embarrassing to post.. I used to run 10min miles on a good day and now it’s everything I can do to get one good 14min mile. Anyway, gotta start somewhere. There are a couple of pretty steep hills in the run below, but it’s really no excuse for that horrific time. I was thinking afterward though, I remember going by a rule the last time around that I’d pick up 1min in time for every 10lbs lost.

Week Two Summary – Run Goal – 12/9/18 – 12/15/18

I mentioned last week that we weren’t starting the Run Goal until this week.  It’s tough getting into ketosis and getting cardio in the first week.  I’m old and I just don’t enjoy the pain that much anymore.  That being said, we had 3 runs scheduled this week and we got all 3 of them done.  I say 3 runs but I’m not sure what I did this week any runner would actually consider “running”.  Gotta start somewhere.   So far
